Blessings Are All Around Us

Sometimes they are right in front of us, visible to the naked eye and portrayed for all of the world to see. Often times though, it takes some digging to find the blessings in our circumstances.

This blog is a compilation of the many blessings I have found, in places which I never imagined they would exist. We have all been through various trials and tribulations in our lives. Some of us more than others.

Pain is pain. Brokenness is brokenness. Grief is grief. All of these are a part of life in this post-Eden world. Walking through the hard things isn’t where we prefer to be, and is definitely not where we desire to abide.

However, sometimes these difficult, heart-wrenching times that cause us to feel grief so acutely that we cannot imagine anything worse happening to us, they create us.

How we arise from times of trial and how we choose to view God in the midst of them forms our character and transforms our minds. Where we resolve to focus, and more importantly what we are determined to believe, produces in us the ethos in which we experience the world.

None of us walk through the same hardships in the same way, and never have we walked through them perfectly. Yet, it is my prayer that this sharing of my journey will encourage you to look up, reach out, and focus not on the hardship, but on the blessings that are given you in the midst of them.

I am praying for each one of you, and look forward to coming alongside you on your journey to find the hidden blessings in your life.
